Leadership

At St. Paul’s, everybody is a minister. We all find our way to serve God and each other. Here are the official leaders of our parish:

The Reverend Allison Carnahan
Rector

Mother Allison was ordained on August 21, 2021 and comes to us from St. Paul’s in Harrisburg, where she served as a Transitional Deacon under the guidance of Reverend Kate Harrigan for two years. Her duties included, but were not limited to, pastoral care, preaching and assisting at the altar.

While worshiping virtually,  she was leading evening worship weekly and assisting for all services. She has been a Chaplain and has extensive experience in Hospice and Bereavement Counseling. In all that she does, Mother Allison offers compassion, empathy, and spiritual leadership. She and her husband Russell are living in the Rectory at Saint Paul’s.

The Reverend Jim Jenkins
Deacon

Deacon Jim was ordained in 2015 and joined the staff of St Paul’s in March 2017. He is a transplant from St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church in Eugene, OR, which was his first assignment as deacon.

While he is new to ordained ministry, he has served in a wide variety of roles in a number of parishes over the years. He is looking forward to exploring how the parish is called to demonstrate God’s love in the world.

Patty Creasy
Parish Secretary

Can you imagine how valuable a single person’s continuing presence and effort can be to an organization?

If so, then you will understand how important Patty’s work is to our parish church. She knows what to do.

Alan Hack
Music Director

For the past 18 years, I have spent my career as a teacher and administrator in public education across the Lehigh Valley and here in Central Pennsylvania.  Currently, I have the honor of serving as the Assistant Executive Director/Chief Academic Officer at the Central Susquehanna Intermediate Unit in Montandon where I oversee all the academic programs and services within our 5-county region.

In addition, music has always been a large part of my life as evidenced by my tenure as the Director of Music at St. Matthew Lutheran Church and the Director of the Jubilate Choir and Orchestra since 2005.  My wife, Danielle, and I reside in Stillwater with our twin boys, Grayson and Liam, ages 7, on a corner of my parents’ farm.
